Young back for Montrose
Montrose have Lloyd Young available again to face Elgin at Links Park after the midfielder returned from holidaying in Australia and proved his fitness in a bounce game earlier this week.
Missing for the Gable Endies will be Phil McGuire who has a knee injury and Paul Lunan who has been laid low by a chest infection.
Manager Stuart Garden is looking for his men to recover from a disappointing performance against Stirling last Saturday.
He said: "We lost 3-1 and didn't do ourselves justice but it is time to put that behind us.
"In the last meeting with Elgin we drew 2-2 despite playing most of it with 10 men. If the 11 can do as well we can pick up the three points."
Elgin welcome back striker Stuart Leslie after a two-game ban and he will join the squad.
Jamie Duff and David Niven have knee injuries while Dennis Wyness' hamstring problem keeps him sidelined and Ross O'Donoghue is struggling to make it with a thigh problem.
Manager Ross Jack said: "We had a good win over Annan last Saturday to get us back into a play-off place. We now need to build on that at Montrose with a win which would take us three points clear with two games in hand.
"We have a few players missing but it's a chance for others to grab a place for what will hopefully be an exciting end to the season."
