However, it has been revelaed that Ian Dobbins will be leaving the club in the summer after signing for Stranraer. Dobbins joind Montrose in May 2007 from neighbours Arbroath on a free transfer and has been a big player for us this season as he has held things together at the back and also had a spell in midfield.
It has been confirmed also that Montrose have signed midfielder Chris Hegarty from Arbroath in a bid to strengthen the midfield. Hegarty arrived at Gayfield in 2005 from Peterhead.
Another confirmed transfer is Roddy Hunter from Albion Rovers. This is a straight replacement in the squad for Andy Rodgers, one striker for another.
