Montrose came from behind to beat whipping boys Clyde 3-1 at Links Park.
Marc McCusker gave the visitors an unlikely lead when he latched on to Nicki Paterson's cross-field pass before unleashing a low shot that beat goalkeeper Sandy Wood on the stroke of half-time.
Clyde's advantage didn't last long though as Montrose were awarded a penalty two minutes after the restart when Richard Waddell made an ill-timed challenge on Ross McCord and top scorer Paul Tosh converted the spotkick.
The visitors found themselves 2-1 down 10 minutes later after Sean Crighton slotted home from six yards.
Montrose then put the result beyond any doubt in the 81st minute when Martin Boyle scored from a low, right-footed shot from inside the area after being fed by dangerman Steven McNally.
